Your owl and trunk await you in the bedroom. There is an extra bedroom in the loft that can be reached via the spiral staircase. Don’t worry; these staircases don’t move like they do at Hogwarts…we think.

Keep your mixology light, as there is only an electric cooktop (no stove) in the kitchen. There is an electric grill on the deck, should you want to wave your wand (tongs) outdoors.

While the dreamy mountain views are ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful weekend in nature, it’s only 10 minutes away from Downtown Asheville. It’s quicker if you bring your Quidditch broom and fly there, but the Headmaster (the city of Asheville) frowns upon broomstick travel for the foreseeable future. 

Nearby attractions include Beaver Lake, the Asheville Botanical Garden, and Grovewood Village, a charming artist-centric village in Asheville. Keep in mind that He Who Shall Not Be Named (Hurricane Helene) took its toll on this area in September 2024. You’ll likely see storm damage, but I think this area needs your support now more than ever. There are plenty of excellent restaurants in Asheville, like Neng Jr.’s and Early Girl Eatery. Be sure to swing by Hole Doughnuts for some of the best made-to-order donuts you’ve ever tried. You can even order online.
