This Historic North Carolina Farmhouse And Inn Has Been Welcoming Guests Since The 1800s

It was the spot where Joseph Mast settled in the 1700s, after reportedly walking all the way from Pennsylvania to this picturesque little valley.

The Main House at the Mast Farm Inn was built in the late 1800s and has several guest rooms where visitors can feel connected to the old Victorian farmhouse and all the daily activity found within. Each room is filled with tasteful decor and luxurious amenities to make your stay even more unforgettable.

But The Mast Farm Inn is more than just a lovely old Victorian farmhouse. The property has several outpost buildings as well. Some are steps away from the big house and have been renovated inside to include modern conveniences.

Shown above, The Loom House is the original cabin from the original Mast settlement. It was built in 1810 and is known to be the oldest inhabitable log cabin in North Carolina. (Yes, you can stay in a this old cabin!)

The outpost buildings that have been turned into guest accommodations include the old two-story log cabin, a blacksmith shop, the woodwork shop, and the granary. Additionally, there are several cabins hidden away on the property in spots where privacy and seclusion abound.

No matter which of the wonderful accommodations you choose, you'll still want to head over to the Main House each morning for the gourmet two-course breakfast in the dining room.
