A Night Under the Stars Awaits at This New Mexico Geo Dome

It offers a wide range of modern amenities to keep you comfortable, but the remote location gives it all the peace and serenity of a camping trip. It's less than two hours from Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, which is a certified Dark Sky Park. 

The dome is also surprisingly roomy. It has a split-level floor plan with two queen beds, accommodating a total of four guests. There’s a bathroom inside the dome and an outdoor kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals.

A spacious wraparound deck looks out over the mountainous landscape, and the view can only be described as surreal. At night, the sky comes alive with millions of twinkling stars, bathing the dome in an ethereal glow. There’s also an outdoor seating area near the kitchen with a fireplace if you want to get cozy under the stars.

You don’t necessarily have to step outside to make the most of your stay, though. Since the front half of the dome is basically a giant window, you can marvel at the cosmos while you lie in bed.
