While you may not see big game animals out here in the desert of New Mexico, you can still have a similar overnight experience as far as accommodations are concerned. If you want a safari-style experience how about booking a safari tent for glamping in New Mexico?

Located in Lamy, New Mexico, is KitFox. Touting itself as a "boutique nature lodge," KitFox has 160 private acres within the scenic Galisteo Basin Preserve.

KitFox offers 11 safari tents on its property. Here you can experience all the amenities of a luxury boutique hotel. The only difference is, you'll experience more privacy and be able to stargaze under dark skies.

Each tent offers a comfortable bed and bedding along with a clothing rack, LED lamps, a fan, and a water dispenser. Outside your door is your very own private deck.

During your stay, you can add on experiences like farm-to-table dining by Dig & Serve and yoga. Staying here is truly a memorable experience.
