The Wagon Wheel Motel opened in 1941. It's been one of the most popular motels on Route 66 ever since!

Once you arrive at the Wagon Wheel office to check in, you'll immediately feel like you've been transported to the past.

However, the motel's current owner, Connie Echols, has updated and restored the entire property.

Each room is a little different. Some rooms offer a clean and modern look while still preserving the original charm.

Other rooms are a bit cozier. with extra long full beds. Each room features a small bath, although there are suite style rooms that also feature a small kitchen.

Onsite you'll also find Connie's Shoppe. The shoppe is the perfect place to look for a memento of your trip while you sip a glass of wine.

Connie's Shop features Route 66 memorabilia, music, local art, jewelry, and so much more.
