Did you know that Maryland has its fair share of spooky spots? For a state with so much history, it's no surprise that stories have evolved into creepy tales of hauntings. The following inn is one of those spots. Its history goes way back, and it just may be home to a ghost or two, or more...
You'll find Admiral Fell Inn at 888 S. Broadway in Baltimore, Maryland.
This historic inn is located in Fell's Point, which was founded in 1730. Once a big import area, Fell's Point became a rowdy district with sailor-filled saloons and brothels.
A boarding house was built here in the early 1900s as a safe haven, and part of that boarding house is still a part of this structure today. Admiral Fell Inn has expanded and remodeled since, and is one of the top places to stay in the city.
This Baltimore inn has its luxuries, such as a restaurant and cocktail lounge, business center, and more.
As you're enjoying all that this historic spot has to offer, you also may encounter paranormal happenings.
Guests have reported witnessing floating sailors, and ghostly butlers who knock on their doors and then disappear.
There is also a story floating around about a hotel manager who heard a loud party inside of the hotel after it was completely evacuated during a hurricane.
It's not surprising that with so much history the area, there just may be disgruntled spirits who have never left. Would you dare sleep here?
