The Villas at Spanish Court is a boutique property made up of several different spaces for temporary rental through Airbnb. Designer Sarah McDaniel of Simply Southern Cottage renovated each space individually. All completed spaces appeared in two magazines, Cottages & Bungalows and American Farmhouse Style, throughout 2022 as the publications' annual Project House.

McDaniel noted the Spanish-style exterior of this building and chose to bring that style inside as well. Each space is cozy, beautiful, and unique. The Wheeler Spanish Villa is perhaps the most Spanish-influenced of them all. Visitors will feel as though they are staying in Spain when they stay in this space, while in reality, they are just one block from downtown and historic Minden, Louisiana.

What Makes This Airbnb Look Like Spain

This home absolutely offers a Spanish vibe and feel. McDaniel made use of curves and red brick in the bedroom area to drive her point home even further. The inclusion of green plants and wooden furniture also helped to bring the outdoors indoors in a very homey way.
