Cozying Up At This Unique Stay In Kentucky Is The Ultimate Winter Retreat
Staying in a shipping container isn’t something one would usually think of as a romantic winter getaway. But, believe it or not, we’ve found one: a shipping container accommodation with modern furniture and amenities, art, and even a hot tub! It's a quirky, fun, and absolutely lovely stay! Let’s take a closer look at this unique winter retreat in Kentucky.
Nestled in the forest in Red River Gorge is this shipping container cabin that’s perfect for two. It’s an unusually romantic stay that looks industrial on the outside but comfy and homey on the inside.
This eclectic stay has a comfortable couch and ottoman, an air conditioning and heating unit, a smart TV, wifi, and beautiful photos on the wall, making for a cozy, unique, and charming place to get away from it all.
There’s a tabletop for dining and a kitchenette with a two-burner stove, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, dishes and utensils, and an old-fashioned Frigidaire refrigerator. There’s also a grill outside if you want to get some barbecue going.
Outside, you’ll find a firepit and two chairs so you can roast marshmallows, sip beverages around the fire, and enjoy some wonderful conversation. The hot tub is just the right size for two and is a great place to stargaze.
There’s a full bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and a heater so that you’ll be warm when you step out of the shower - plus a mirror to make sure you look great for the one you brought with you.
There’s a large and comfortable bed where you can retire for the evening and outside you’ll see nothing but beautiful trees.
The place is completely surrounded by forest so you won’t have to worry about noisy or nosy neighbors, and you’ll be surrounded by natural beauty for your entire stay.
