Welcome to The Woodward, a stunning bed and breakfast where not only are the rooms beautiful, but so is the space outside.
This beautiful building was built in 1923 for a man named Chester and his wife Frederica. Chester Woodward wanted his beautiful estate to be as English as possible, so he imported timber and stone to build this home and large library (pictured). Though they no longer live here since 1971, the house retains much of the beautiful original qualities.
They're allegedly a big fan of breakfasts that feel like dessert. Homemade just how you like them, they really make waking up exciting. It would be hard to get out of bed otherwise!
Inside, you're treated to luxurious beds, plenty of amenities, and comfort reigns over all. Treating yourself here is definitely worthwhile
Out the windows you get various green views, from the patio to the trees and vines out front. If you can tear yourself from the decorated rooms and bath, you can really enjoy the peace of the outdoors.
Whether you choose The Woodward for the view and breakfast or one of their other properties, you'll be treated to an amazing stay.
The Woodward can be reached through their website or by phone at (785) 354-7111.
