Have you heard of the new "thing" in which folks are devising creative ways to get affordable housing? One such method is repurposing old shipping containers - which, I promise, is SO much cooler than it sounds like it should be. Take, for example, one of the single coolest, most unique Airbnbs in Indiana that I recently found; if you're curious about shipping container life, or if you simply love glamping, this is one escape from the real world you can't miss! Of all the coolest places to stay in Indiana, this one ought to be near the top of everyone's must-do list.
Welcome to Indy's first-ever shipping container home, made up of seven containers plus a gorgeous finished basement and a three-car garage.
The whole place is an impressive 3,200 square feet - just enough room to really, truly relax.
It's so much roomier than you'd expect!
With plenty of living space, a designated kitchen, and four gorgeous bedrooms, you really can't go wrong.
I bet you never thought you would ever sleep in one shipping container, let alone seven of 'em at once, but here we are.
I love the quirkiness the place has to it without sacrificing elegance or style. It's truly a dream come true for glampers, bloggers, couples, and just about anyone who wants to get out of the house for a while (and into a container).
The comfy bed(s) await you following a long day of exploring the area.
This vacation home in Indiana is very close to numerous must-see and must-do Indiana attractions; Mass Ave is just over one mile away. The Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium are both just three miles away. The Indianapolis Zoo is also just a hop, skip and a jump - you get the idea. You'll never run out of fun stuff to do!
At the end of the day, come "home" and make a nice, hearty dinner to enjoy solo or with whomever you're sharing this unique space.
I'm a huge fan of unique Airbnbs in Indiana (and in general), and this one is probably one of my all-time faves that I've ever found. To say it's a treasure is to understate things a smidge.
So, come on out to Indianapolis and experience this edgy, modern home made of shipping containers.
It's outrageously unique!
