Sometimes, all we need in this life is some good ol' peace and quiet, and if there's any state that's great for exactly that, it's Indiana. Turns out, this little corner of the Midwest is perfect for some R&R, and I found a wonderful little escape from the real world located right in the middle of it all (without being too bustling). This gorgeous little vacation home rental in Broad Ripple Indiana is perfect for a solo escape or a couples' outing, and it's perfect for anyone interested in some old-fashioned quiet time without being too far from all the happening things Indy has to offer. Check it out:

Welcome to the Little Red Cottage, where all your dreams of peace, quiet, and good times can come true.

It's a gorgeous two bedroom, one bathroom hideaway that's both away from it all and at the center of everything - whichever way you prefer to look at it.

It is a beautiful space, with plenty of modern amenities and old-school delights to discover.

Though it can accommodate up to four quests, I personally recommend this one for a solo getaway in which you want to unwind. It's perfect for me-time!

Of course, you can utilize it however you see fit; ultimately it's up to you.

It's got all the comforts of home, like a fully-equipped kitchen, wifi, private parking, and more, coupled with a few truly unique little treats you'll only find here.

It's got a gorgeous, green private yard with a screened porch and furnished patio.

It's located in the heart of the historic Broad Ripple neighborhood in Indy, and should you decide to venture out, you'll find that there's an amazing number of shops, eateries, and attractions nearby to keep you occupied while you're here.

The list of nearby attractions is a long one, and I don't have the space to list everything here, but some of the more notable nearby things to see and do include things like:

The Indiana State Fairgrounds. The Mass Avenue Restaurant district and cultural scene. The Bottleworks District. White River State Park. The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Indianapolis Motor Speedway. You get the idea: there's a bunch!

Naturally, if you never wanted to leave and simply wanted to enjoy the serenity of the cottage without interruption, you can always do that, too.

After all, it's your vacation - a little respite from the real world - and you can enjoy it however you please.
