Since 2008, the William Watson Hotel has been charming visitors, who come around for various area activities. It is named after the man who built the building in 1838.

Guests stay in a large, brick building with a rustic, brick interior. Upon entering, patrons are greeted by an adorable lobby that sets up the theme for your stay.

This hotel features 14 unique rooms, a lobby, a courtyard, and a breakfast room, while next door, there is a coffee house.

Room rates are moderate, starting at just under $90 and going up to about $130 per night. There are multiple room options with king and queen size beds.

By way of amenities, most rooms have a kitchenette, which includes a mini fridge and a microwave. All rooms have a desk, cable, and high-speed internet.

Visitors are never bored here. Many come for nearby hunting opportunities, but there are also plenty of restaurants, bars, spas, and shopping nearby. Additionally, the inn is only an hour away from our state's capital.

This hotel was once known as the Mansion House when it was originally built and used to house the likes of Abraham Lincoln, Stephen Douglas, and John Hay. William Watson, who opened the place, was the first settler of Pittsfield and so it is named in his honor.

In the 1950's the inn became apartments but the current owners bought it in 2006 and remodeled it back into guest rooms.
