As you might've guessed from the name, The 1842 Inn was a home built in 1842. The building saw significant renovations when purchased by its second owner in 1900.

Today, it's a magnificent inn that lies somewhere between a hotel and a small bed and breakfast.

The inn features 19 rooms, each tastefully decorated with historic furniture.

Of course, you can't have a true southern atmosphere without having a porch and courtyard for entertaining, and the ones here beckon you to sit and stay for a while.

Each morning brings a complimentary full breakfast, which you can eat in the parlor, courtyard, or in-room.
