This Airbnb in Connecticut Is Peak Fall Vibes

Check into a private apartment in a beautiful country home at this fall Airbnb in Connecticut, which boasts some of the best leaf-peeping in the state.

I've been to Connecticut during all four seasons of the year, and I have to say fall is the best of all worlds. It's still warm enough during the early period that you can enjoy the water, but the largest crowds are gone and the air is wonderfully brisk. Not to mention, like all of New England, the place is gorgeous during this time of year! There's something about New England fall foliage that just hits differently, and there's no better way to see it than from a fall Airbnb in Connecticut.

Many of the state's top vacation rentals are on the coast, unsurprisingly, but if you want to catch some great leaf-peeping, heading inland is a great idea. We found an amazing getaway in the town of Woodstock, a private apartment in a beautiful country home. It sleeps two, so it's an ideal couple's getaway, and is surrounded by a thick bank of trees that is getting ready to put on the most beautiful show in Connecticut as summer comes to an end.

One of the best things about Airbnb is how unconventional some of the stays can be. This gorgeous country home surrounded by fall woods is a private residence, but it has a separate apartment attached that can be rented for a two-person getaway. It's an amazing stay—and the inside is as stunning as the outside.

I was really impressed by the look of this cozy but comfortable apartment. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a 40-inch HDTV, and Wi-Fi that is more than capable of supporting your working vacation.

There's only one bed that sleeps two people, but the bedroom is beautiful and comfortable, with a great old-fashioned vibe and a nice view right outside your window. The apartment even comes with books if you're the type of person who likes to read in bed!

My favorite spot in the apartment has got to be the attached sunroom. This is going to be a great place if you're here in summer—enjoy the great outdoors without being fully at the mercy of the summer heat! This is a great place to have breakfast, read, or get some work done while surrounded by nature.

But if you're here during the fall, you owe it to yourself to explore outside. The house is only a short distance from Woodstock's dining and shopping scene, and to get there, you'll be making your way past some of the best fall foliage in Connecticut. It feels like the woods know you're here and are putting on their best colors to welcome you.

Have you stayed at this countryside apartment before? If not, this fall Airbnb in Connecticut is still available for much of September and October, so tell your travel partner about this article and book your own stay on the official Airbnb listing! This isn't the only sight to remember in Woodstock, either—make sure to catch a glimpse at the stunning exterior of Chris Mark Castle while you're in town.
