What Was Once A Brothel, The Tombstone Bordello Is A Fascinating Place To Stay In Arizona
I absolutely love visiting places that were once something else. Most of the time, there's fascinating history involved like at this one unique bed and breakfast in Tombstone. What was once a brothel, The Tombstone Bordello in Arizona has a storied history and is now a wonderful place for a getaway.
Tombstone Bordello Bed and Breakfast has a fascinating yet storied history. Built in 1888 in the town's Red Light District, it was owned by Big Nose Kate, wife of Doc Holliday.
This was a popular place at the time, frequented by a variety of working-class men. There was a sitting room where visitors could pay to sit and chat with one of the working ladies, and there were private rooms for those who could afford more.
Now a bed and breakfast, it's still maintained the cozy and homey feel as it did under Big Nose Kate's management back in the day. You can book a stay at one of the B&B's nine well-appointed rooms.
There are three rooms downstairs and six rooms upstairs.
Each morning of your stay, you can enjoy a wonderful home-cooked breakfast served in the dining room.
While you're here, you should take a look at all of the historic photos adorning the walls. They will give you a good feel of the history of this bordello-turned-bed-and-breakfast.
Among other amenities you can enjoy here at the Tombstone Bordello Bed and Breakfast are a seasonal pool and a hot tub. Such perfect places to relax!
This B&B is located at 107 W Allen St. in Tombstone, AZ. Book your stay and spend a night in a part of the town's history!
