Although it's located just 30 miles east of the Grand Canyon, this traditional Hogan, or Earth home, feels like an entirely different world.

The Hogan sleeps three guests and is extremely cozy (albeit rustic).
If you're in search of a five-star hotel experience, look elsewhere - the amenities are minimalistic, but luxury isn't the point. Here, it's all about unplugging and embracing the ways of life before the modern world took over.
Well-provisioned, the Hogan features bottled water, coffee mugs, bowls, and even a few creature comforts like electric outlets and a battery-powered lantern.
There is no indoor plumbing, so you'll have to take a short walk to an outhouse north of the home.
Firewood is provided, which you'll need to cook on the wood-burning stove.
Additional supplies include kindling, newspaper, and lighters, so you shouldn't have any trouble keeping the flames going.
