This Tiny Home Vacation Rental Near Petrified Forest National Park Is a Hidden Gem
Plan a trip to Petrified Forest National Park, then stay at this glamping Airbnb with breathtaking views and a host of amenities.
As one of the top national parks in the US, of course, the Grand Canyon is worth visiting. After all, witnessing the largest canyons in America is a dream come true. Naturally, it’s on my bucket list, but I have another national park in Arizona on my radar, too. That park is the Petrified Forest National Park near Holbrook. This geological haven is truly a unique natural wonder with its Painted Desert, fossilized wood, and otherworldly landscapes. If you’re like me and plan to visit this hidden gem soon, I’ve got the perfect place for you to stay. Check out this tiny home Airbnb near Petrified Forest National Park that promises an unforgettable glamping experience.
Welcome to the Star Gazer tiny home, an off-grid glamping cabin 20 miles from the Petrified Forest. This cozy Airbnb is perfect for outdoorsy explorers who (like me) prefer more comfort when out in the elements.
True to off-grid living, there’s no Wi-Fi or TV here. But expect incredible amenities, including gorgeous views of the Arizona landscape, lots of outdoor space, a shared seasonal pool, a fire pit, a hammock, an outdoor movie theater, a swinging bench, and more. Past guests enjoyed the cabin’s tinted glass roof, where they marveled at the twinkling stars from the comfy bed. So, if you want to escape to a fun glamping hideaway, this place is for you.
With two queen-sized beds (one is a bunk bed), this rustic Airbnb has room for four guests, but it’s also the right size for two or the solo adventurer. Not to mention, this rental is pet-friendly, so bring your furry bestie to enjoy the trip.
Other amenities include an outdoor kitchen to prepare meals, a BBQ grill, a small bathroom with heated water, and shared workout equipment. The host lives on the property, and there is another rental here as well. However, if you want a secluded stay, it can be arranged.
Since you’re here to visit Petrified Forest, I recommend hiking some of our favorite trails. The Blue Mesa Trail is a short and easy trek through the gorgeous multicolored badlands.
Check out the Devil's Playground Loop for a backcountry adventure along the mesmerizing landscapes. And don’t forget to explore Holbrook. Sure, it might be a sleepy little town in Arizona, but you won’t run out of things to do. Plus, the town is tucked along the iconic Route 66, another reason to visit.
After a full day of exploration, return for a restful night's sleep under the stars at the Star Gazer cabin. This Airbnb near Petrified Forest National Park is one of the best places to stay in town and a true hidden gem.
