4. Chena Lakes Campground, Fairbanks

5. Clam Gulch State Recreation Area, Soldotna

6. Johnson Lake State Rec Area, Kasilof

7. Funny River Campground, Funny River
Located at Mile 12 Funny River Road, this campground is near many beautiful natural features. The river is full of sockeye and silver salmon in the summer and this spot is a haven for those who love fishing. Address: 37684 Funny River Road, Soldotna, AK 99669.
8. Thumb Cove State Marine Park, Seward
Thumb Cove State Marine Park is located nine miles south of Seward on the east side of Resurrection Bay and features a sandy beach, wooded trails, and beautiful, remote camping spots. 9. Buskin River State Recreational Site, Kodiak
