This Alabama Airbnb Has the Most Underrated Fishing Spot

This isolated Alabama Airbnb comes with its own private island and access to endless fishing opportunities.

Alabama’s abundance of waterways makes it a fisherman’s paradise. Lake Eufaula and Lake Guntersville are some of the best places to fish in Alabama, but what about anglers who want to try a new spot? Well, I’ve found one of the most secluded Airbnbs in Alabama that just so happens to be a great place to drop a line. It's right on the water, has a charming little backyard area, and it even has access to your own private island! Let’s check it out:

This cozy fishing cabin in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, is unlike any other fishing cabin you’ve ever seen. For starters, you’ll have access to your own private island! That's certainly not something you come across every day.

The road to reach this secluded Airbnb in Alabama is long, narrow, and surrounded by woods. Ordinarily, I’d start playing banjo music at this point, but this is exactly what you need for a secluded fishing spot.

The log cabin is right on the water, with plenty of ways to enjoy it. I would absolutely be tethering a raft to the dock and catching some sun like these fine folks below.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin can sleep up to eight guests comfortably, though keep in mind that the second bedroom has two bunk beds. Personally, I think a proper fishing cabin is supposed to have bunk beds. It’s part of the fun!

This isn’t a traditional fishing cabin where you’ll be “roughing it”. This spacious Airbnb has W-Fi, HDTVs, waterfront access, and plenty of space to sprawl out. There is even a washer/dryer in the cabin (so you won’t have to bring dirty, fishy clothes home!).

Your very own private island comes with a newly built dock and a place to dock your boat (there is a boat ramp nearby). Guests have access to a paddle boat, and I highly recommend taking it out for a spin! Even if you’re not fishing, seeing the area from the water’s perspective is always a good time.

It’s only a short boat ride away to Weiss Lake, the crappie capital of the world, but you can just as easily drop a line from the dock and catch yourself dinner. One review of this Airbnb gushed about how many catfish they caught.

The charm of the log cabin bleeds into the backyard, where you’ll find a fire pit, plenty of outdoor seating, and string lights for nighttime adventures. Of course, you have to sit by the fire and make a s’more—I don’t make the rules.

If you’re looking for an isolated cabin where you can fish and enjoy the water, this is it. Visit the Airbnb listing to check dates and start planning your epic getaway today.
