The Glampground Getaway in Alabama With a Geodesic Dome, Tiny Homes, and More

Have you been considering a glamping adventure and can't decide what kind of space you'd like to try first? Take your pick of a tiny home, bell tent, or geodesic dome at Wish Upon a Star Vacation Properties, a new glamping getaway in Rogersville, Alabama. Once you try one, we bet you'll start planning on another for your next visit.

The location and views are sublime. It's located in the upper northwest corner of the state, only 10 miles west of Joe Wheeler State Park.

The newest feature at the glampground is the geodesic dome, called the Phoenix Dome. The site features the dome alongside a cozy seating area for taking in the fresh air and views outdoors.

Not that the views inside the dome aren't just as good. It has cozy appointments to feel completely relaxed during a glamping getaway.

The entire site overlooks Bluewater Creek, which flows into the Tennessee River just to the south. Even wintry scenes are spectacular.

However, when warmer temperatures arrive in spring and heat up long into summer, Wish Upon A Star glamping sites are well equipped for outdoor lounging during your stay. In addition to the dome, the property has The Gemini, a luxury tiny home.

While the home is tiny, the views are big. And the outdoor living space is almost as cozy as indoors.

For a bit more rustic experience that's still pretty posh, you might prefer one of the Dreamy Belle glamping tents – spacious bell tents with pretty decor. They sleep two and include access to kitchenette and bathhouse facilities nearby.

You can find booking information on all of the properties on the Wish Upon A Star website and see the latest property news on the Wish Upon a Star Facebook page.

We'd love to hear what you think of this new glamping getaway in Rogersville, Alabama, especially if you've enjoyed a stay.
