15 Things People Miss The Most About South Carolina When They Leave

Have you ever thought about moving to another state? Leaving South Carolina can be hard. There is so much that you will miss when you do go. Here's a few things I know I would miss if I ever left South Carolina.

1. The food...seriously, where are you going to find authentic South Carolina food, but in South Carolina? You are so going to miss that yummy, fried, homemade delicious food.

2. The best barbecue that the nation has to offer. That is definitely, hands-down something you will miss if you leave here.

3. The best fishing holes ever. You can't deny that South Carolina has some of the best fishing around.

4. You will miss the weather; those beautiful sunny, clear days of summer and those mildly cool, crisp days of winter. It's beautiful.

5. With all the beautiful beaches here, I'm sure you are going to miss one or two of them.

6. There's nothing like the barrier islands we have here.

7. You will definitely miss Charleston where even if you live there, you still feel like a tourist seeing the city for the first time.

8. There's something special about the mountains in the Upstate of SC that you can't find anywhere else.

9. And, you are going to miss the magnificent hiking we have here as well as...

the gorgeous waterfalls.

10. You are truly going to miss the fact that you didn't even have to leave the state to have a vacation like the ones we have here.

11. The trees covered in spanish moss and the long driveways.

12. Our lovely lighthouses.

13. Our stunning sunrises...you won't find them like this anywhere else in the world.

14. And you will miss watching the sun slowly sink below the horizon as it does here in South Carolina.

15. All in all, you are going to miss the beauty that is South Carolina. However, never fear...you can always come home again.
