1. The Steelers

Pittsburgh is pretty much synonymous with the Steelers. Pittsburghers are notorious - in a good way - for their undying loyalty to the black and gold.

2. The Pittsburgh Skyline

Anyone who's ever visited Pittsburgh can attest to the breathtaking beauty of the Pittsburgh skyline. Whether you're standing high atop Mount Washington or you're emerging from the Fort Pitt Tunnels, you'll be treated to unforgettable views of the downtown skyline .

3. The Duquesne Incline

Climb aboard the Duquesne Incline for a truly spectacular experience as you watch the city skyline before you debark at the top of Mount Washington. Even better? A trip down the mountain is just as breathtaking.

4. Mister Rogers

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...and Pittsburgh has been made that much richer throughout history because of the contributions of Mister Rogers.

Winter usually means a fair share of snow in the Pittsburgh area. (We lucked out in 2017.) So, when people think about Pittsburgh, it wouldn't be a surprise if they think of snow.

Even if we've escaped a snowy winter, we sure can look forward to a humid summer. Summer and humidity just go hand-in-hand in the Burgh. And, you know what that means? Plenty of frizzy hair days.

11. The Steep Hills

If you want miles and miles of flat roads, head to the Midwest. You're certainly not going to find the flat roads in one of the hilliest cities in the country. Pittsburgh boasts plenty of steep hills and roads, including the steepest road in the United States: Canton Avenue.

12. Isaly’s

A chipped ham sandwich. Golden french fries. An ice cream cone. Isaly's stores might be little more than a memory but we can still indulge in chipped ham, one of the company's most popular products.

13. Loyalty

Don't mess with Pittsburgh. Pittsburghers are loyal. Sure, we can complain about the Burgh but if you're not from here? Pittsburghers won't have it. We're all about loyalty to our city.
