Most people don't know that the gravesite of Catherine Coulson, a famous Twin Peaks actress, is in Jacksonville, Oregon. Her gravesite is located in Jacksonville Cemetery and may be visited by the public.

Beginning in her teen years, she also worked as an actress, gaining notoriety as the mysterious "Log Lady" in the Twin Peaks TV show, which aired from 1990 to 1991, and the 1992 movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.

Some of her other acting projects include the following films: The Amputee, Trick or Treats, Femme Fatale, The Secret Life of Houses, Calvin Marshall, and Redwood Highway. She also appeared in the Oregon-based comedy TV series Portlandia, among many other television shows and movies.

Coulson enjoyed fame for her iconic Log Lady role throughout her life. However, she also had many other responsibilities including serving as a camera assistant for director David Lynch on his 1977 film "Eraserhead."

The final resting place of Coulson, the historic Jacksonville Cemetery in Jacksonville, Oregon, is one of the oldest cemeteries in the Pacific Northwest,

Fun fact: this cemetery is home to the graves of many notable Oregon pioneers, including William "Squire" Hoffman, William Green T'Vault, and Regina Dorland Robinson.

The 32-acre cemetery contains 5,615 graves and is part of Jacksonville's National Landmark Status.

It's not only a peaceful place to visit, but it's also beautiful. Sit and enjoy the quiet and beauty of the area. You won't regret it.
