11 Things Everyone Else Thinks Of When They Think Of Ohio

In spite of all the hidden gems in Ohio and interesting facts about about our state, there are some things that keep Ohio quite predictable in the minds of outsiders. The following are undeniable (and for the most part true) things that people instantly think of whenever Ohio comes to mind.

1) Buckeyes (Because we can’t get enough of them here.)

2) Agriculture (Because it really is a beautiful way of life here.)

3) People doing this:

(like, everywhere....)

4) Roller coasters (Because we have the best of the best.)

5) Columbus, Cincinnati and Cleveland—even though the rest of us know that’s only scratching the surface of Ohio.

6) Cheese conies and Skyline Chili.

7) Corn. Lots and lots of corn.

8) Construction barrels (Because we just can’t seem to get ourselves—and our roadways—together.)

9) Our infamous harsh winters that keep even the Abominable Snowman away.

10) LeBron James

Need I say more?

11) That we’re a boring state—but that’s only because they’ve either 1) never actually been here, or 2) have no idea how to actually have fun outside of television, video games, and such.
