10 Reasons Why Fall Is The Best Time Of The Year In Nashville
Yes, autumn is a wonderful thing - but in Nashville? It's downright unforgettable. We were voted the #2 travel destination in the US by Travel + Leisure (check it out!), and we know just why. Here are ten reasons why we think Music City is the best place to be during the months of fall.
1. Those colors, though…
We have the prettiest colors in the south.
2. The weather is bearable enough to finally walk that dang pedestrian bridge.
This is the one time of year you can actually do this. Well, also during the spring.
3. It's bonfire weather!
Invite a few friends over and enjoy something lovely.
4. Hillsboro Village is a dream during the fall.
Those colors, those darling brick laden streets...
5. And Fido? KILLER fall specials on their menu.
They launched their Fall/Winter drinks on September 22nd, so you better get in on that.
6. MOST of the tourists leave.
And it's a nice, nice thing. Almost like the city emptied overnight.
7. Oktoberfest in Germantown is always a hoot.
It's one of the most popular events that takes place in Germantown in the fall.
8. We have some fabulous fall festivals.
The Southern Festival of Books is a fantastic way to get plugged in to your literary side.
9. ALL the haunted houses.
We have so many neat things to do in the fall, and our Halloween haunted houses are pretty amazing.
10. The stars flood the streets for the CMA awards.
It's a magical time for country music, out here in Music City.
Convinced just yet? Then you should probably book a plane ticket out. We love this place, and you're sure to love it, too.
