Today we look back on another decade of life in Minnesota, and one that many of you will likely remember. From buildings that no longer stand to famous concerts, we found some of the most fascinating photos that are sure to evoke a memory, or 2, or 10. 1. The Metropolitan Building in Minneapolis circa 1960. It was the city's first skyscraper, 218 feet of green granite and red sandstone with a roof garden and observation tower.

2. In 1962, this fish egg battery in MN was being inspected.

3. While the inspectors were around, they also snapped this photo of two men with a load of netted fish.

4. These Girl Scouts of Minneapolis were canoeing at Camp Cassaway on Cass Lake in 1961.

5. In 1966, this child was riding on the hand petal powered railcar at Paul Bunyan Land in Brainerd.

6. In 1965, this shot was captured of a Twins - Orioles game at Metropolitan Stadium.

7. In August of 1965 the Beatles arrived at the Minneapolis - St. Paul Airport.

8. This shot was captured at the press concert before the Metropolitan Stadium Concert.

9. This is Soo Line 0-6-0 No. 346 at Koppers Coke in August of 1961.

10. On April 30th, 1967 in Duluth, waves as high as 20 feet were stirred up on Lake Superior.

11. On April 27th, 1967 Martin Luther King Jr. spoke against the Vietnam War at the St. Paul campus of the University of Minnesota.
