Massachusetts Was Named The Best State In America And We Couldn’t Agree More
Massachusetts is ranked as the best state to live in due to its top-notch education, health care, and picturesque landscapes.
For those of us who live in Massachusetts, it's never been questioned that ours is the best state to call home. But thanks to a recent U.S. News & World Report article, the rest of the world is in on the secret now too. Here are some reasons Massachusetts stood out among so many other great states:
With a population of 6.8 million, Massachusetts is nothing less than a "New England powerhouse," to quote the study.
What really put the state at the top of the list are the education and health care systems, both of which are highly prioritized.
According to the Best States analysis, Massachusetts ranks first in the country for accessibility to health care.
But that’s certainly not all; amidst an exciting academic environment and strong economy, Massachusetts is a highly livable and forward-thinking place to call home
According to Governor Charlie Baker, over 12,000 jobs have been added over the past two years. With several companies moving to Massachusetts, it seems like businesses of the future will have a strong basis here.
With some of the oldest universities in the country, it’s no surprise that Massachusetts is often looked to for academics.
Even so, it’s the performance of 8th graders that seem to indicate a solid future for students. This age group is #1 in the country for math and #2 for reading.
And in case these factors weren’t reason enough, there’s the beautiful landscape of Massachusetts to consider also.
From the mountains to the Boston skyline to the seashore, it's hard to imagine a more picturesque state to call home.
It's nothing short of heavenly!
