Here Are 17 Reasons Everyone Should Move To Hawaii
Living in Hawaii offers unparalleled natural beauty, a laid-back lifestyle, and numerous outdoor activities, making it a unique and fulfilling experience.
There’s an undeniable feeling of peace that washes over you as you land in Hawaii, as you step into the beautiful Pacific Ocean on any of the islands’ phenomenal beaches: it’s called paradise, and it’s something everyone should experience at least once in their life. And obviously, living here – for your entire life, or just a year – is much better than a simple vacation that will leave you wanting for more.
I’m sure there are locals out there who are already furious with me over the title of this piece, and I get it: the islands are overcrowded and you’re mad that we are suggesting anyone else move to the beautiful place we call home. Go ahead, be furious with me, but don’t tell me that any of these 17 things aren’t true.
1. Hawaii is home to near-perfect weather, year-round.
2. Hawaii is full of unsurpassed natural beauty.
3. Hawaii is both the least stressed and most happy state in the country.
4. The waves are incredible – and make for some of the best surfing and body boarding you could find anywhere.
5. There is little better than the laid-back Aloha lifestyle.
6. The islands are paradise for water sport enthusiasts of all kinds.
Hawaii is home to world-class snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, paddle boarding and fishing.
7. We live and work in a location that often feels like another country – but we still have the privileges, rights, and benefits of being American citizens.
8. Your friends and family will always come to visit you…
9. …And you will quickly make friends that become your family.
10. Hawaii is steeped with cultural heritage, and history.
11. There is less emphasis placed on material goods.
No one cares about your junky island car or that you wear the same two swimsuits every day. The only possessions we really care about are surfboards and hiking boots.
12. The islands are full of long, winding and seemingly endless hiking trails.
13. You will never have to wear heels or a tuxedo ever again.
Because every day is casual Friday in Hawaii.
14. Hawaiian food is second to none.
15. Hawaii’s beaches are all public.
16. The air is clean and refreshing.
17. The sunrises and sunsets will take your breath away.
There is so much more to living in Hawaii than these 17 simple things, and living in Hawaii isn’t for everyone, but hey, it will surely be the experience of a lifetime.
