Alaskans often miss the unique natural beauty and lifestyle of their home state when they move away.

As the old saying goes, "you can take the person out of Alaska but you can't take Alaska out of the person." Anyone who has ever lived in the Last Frontier knows just how accurate that saying truly is. Albeit wild and extreme, there are so many special things that come along with braving the storm in the far north. It's impossible to deny that anyone who has ever moved away from Alaska has thought about these things at least once.

With views like this, we would be crazy to leave.

Because really though, it makes life so much more fun.

It's impossible not to love the largest national forest in America. The Tongass National Forest is southeast Alaska's happy place!

Nothing pairs better with a good ole fashioned road trip.
