Unlike most parks in Southern California, this unique destination was developed to showcase San Diego's historic Victorian architecture that was found throughout the city in the 1800s.
One fun fact that many people don't realize is that the Victorian homes in Heritage Park were relocated from their original locations and brought to Heritage Park as a way of preserving their heritage.
Although you can enjoy the homes from the outside, there are no interior tours available as the homes have only been restored on the outside.
