There’s Nothing Better Than This Pumpkin Festival In Southern California

With Halloween right around the corner, there's nothing better than getting into the spirit of the season by heading to this annual Pumpkin Festival in Southern California. Packed with tons of activities for the whole family to enjoy, this seasonal festival now in its 27th year is always one for the books.

Mark your calendar for October 5-6, 2019 as the annual Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Festival held at AGRIscapes is right around the corner and you won't want to miss it. After opening weekend, the fun-filled fall activities at the pumpkin patch will continue through October 31st.

So what can you expect when you arrive at Pumpkin Fest? Pumpkins, of course. Lots and lots of pumpkins, close to 40,000 to be exact, grown right here on the farm at AGRIscape by the school's agricultural department.

But Pumpkin Fest is so much more than just pumpkins. It's also a festive family destination packed with tons of fall activities that will bring out the kid in everyone.

From tractor rides through the pumpkin patch...

...to pie-eating contests with pumpkin pie, of course, you'll find plenty of fall fun to keep everyone entertained for hours.

You'll even find everyone's favorite activity at this Pumpkin Fest — a corn maze. Take a walk through the corn maze and see if you can find your way out. It's always much harder than it looks.

Or test your creative skills and build a scarecrow. Believe us when we say that kids aren't the only ones who will enjoy making their very own scarecrow.

Or simply strike a pose at a variety of photo stations to capture all the great memories. It's so much fun around here you may never want to leave.

Pumpkin Festival runs from October 5 through October 31st, 2019 six days per week. Please note that the pumpkin patch is closed on Mondays.

Admission to Pumpkin Fest is $5 for adults at the gate and $4 for kids. If you want to save a few dollars you can purchase tickets in advance and save $1 off the price for each ticket. You can also save even more and purchase the Family Pack for $12 which includes 2 adult and 2 kids tickets.
