With winter behind us, many of us are eager to get outside and enjoy some fun activities. This state hosts a lot of cool community events, fairs, and festivals during spring and summer and we have one that is just so very SoCal, you won’t want to miss it. The Citrus Fair in La Habra, California, is free to attend and the entire family will love it.
The 13th Annual Citrus Fair, hosted by the La Habra Chamber of Commerce, is being held this year on May 5, 6, and 7. The fair hours are Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with some special events taking place outside of these hours.
As usual, it starts off with the Bubble Parade, in which everyone is invited to walk through the fair, starting Friday at 5 p.m. in El Centro Lions Park. The parade ends at the Citrus Fair stage and just like that, the fair is on.
The fair gets bigger every year and this year is expected to be the biggest Citrus Fair yet, with more vendors, food, and rides than ever.
Kids and adults alike are encouraged to don a silly costume, bring a bubble maker, and join the parade which is full of music and dancing as it makes its way down the street. Don’t worry if you don’t have bubble supplies - you can buy bubble makers right there at the fair.
In addition to being a Citrus Marketplace, the fair features a variety of fresh food vendors serving up delicious hand-made dishes.
There will also be vendors presenting commercial products and unique handicrafts for purchase.
Come and celebrate the lemon! Enjoy a variety of different fresh, flavored lemonades. Oh, and citrus fruits will feature in handmade margaritas, too!
Enjoy local bands and performers who will be showing off their talents throughout the La Habra Citrus Fair.
The Citrus Fair is part Custom Car Show and there will be plenty of spectacular, restored, and souped-up classics to check out on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
Attendees of all ages will find fun and exciting rides to experience. Ride wristbands can be purchased prior to the event by scanning a QR code on the La Habra Chamber of Commerce website.
Admission to this three-day event is free and promises to be fun for the whole family. Will you be making plans to enjoy the La Habra Citrus Fair?
