There’s nothing like the thrill of finding a great bargain, and thrift stores are the best places to look for that one-of-a-kind find. A few months ago we told you about 11 great thrift stores in South Dakota where you can find treasures, and today we’re focusing on the biggest of the bunch. Pack a lunch and head to Rapid City – you’re gonna love this place!
Pac Rat Palace is a family-owned store that's been open since 1983. It's located at 1350 Deadwood Avenue in Rapid City.
The store carries tons of furniture, and the selection changes daily. With the big roll-up warehouse door, they can have your new couch loaded onto your truck in no time.
Clothing is neatly organized, and there are fitting rooms so you can try items on before you buy. You'll find everything from vintage clothes to brand new stuff here. Peruse the half-price rack and dollar tables for even bigger deals.
Have something you want to consign? Pac Rat Palace takes consignment items on Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visit their consignment page for details.
