Take Trail 4: Spur Trail To Little Devil's Tower, one mile east of Sylvan Lake on the Needles Highway.
The spur trail diverts about a half mile from the Sylvan Lake trailhead.

While the view from the top is amazing, don't forget to enjoy the journey!
Travel past large boulders, forested hills, and meadows.
During the summer, this trail can be fairly crowded. For a more peaceful experience, try an early morning weekday hike, or go during the colder season in the spring or fall.
The most difficult part of the hike comes at the very end when you'll scramble up some boulders.
This part is strenuous and a little bit scary if you're afraid of heights.
Your reward? This incredible, panoramic view.
When you reach the 6,920-foot summit, you'll be in awe of the view.
You'll definitely want to bring your camera along for this hike.

It's about one mile to the north.
Spend some time soaking in this scenery. You'll be able to see the Cathedral Spires, Black Elk Peak, and miles upon miles of the Black Hills.
