Taking place in late June of each year, Scavenger's Journey is the largest and most exciting yard sale in the Midwest, as the sales span a whopping 90 miles!

As per their website, "Scavenger's Journey leads you through 12 communities in Central South Dakota on Highway 16," adding that "You'll find a treasure trove of goods and hospitality by visiting the vendors & businesses in our participating towns."

Running from Kadoka to Plankinton and dipping down to Platte and Winner, the Scavenger's Journey has everything you could ever want (and more), including antiques, furniture, clothing, decor, and other hard-to-find collectibles.

While most of the sale takes place outside, some communities host their event indoors, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled while you drive.
