Some Of The Best Food In The State Is Found Inside This South Carolina Bowling Alley

Gone are the days of the bowling alleys we and our parents grew up in where you may get a clear acrylic pitcher of beer, a microwaved pizza or a hot dog that came off of one of those warmers with all the spinning tubes. That's right... and in the case of this South Carolina bowling alley (and others that have opened in recent years) bowling alleys - and their food - have stepped up the game of bowling (and dining out!) considerably. Check out this one that recently opened near Greenville and see what we mean...

Spare Time Greenville opened earlier in the year and we couldn't be more impressed with a bowling alley that's also keen on dishing out amazing food and stellar beverage choices.

But food, bowling and beer aren't the only things offered at this huge, new entertainment complex.

It also has a game room arcade that is loaded with the newest, biggest and brightest challenging arcade games you've seen in quite a while.

There are games for all ages and skill levels, and the arcade is an ideal place to warm up before your big bowling match. The new entertainment complex also has a variety of escape rooms, if you want to be locked up with your opponent before the match starts.

Bowling and beer go hand-in-hand, so it comes as no surprise that Spare Time also brings more beverage variety than the bowling alleys of yesterday.

But bowling, beer and arcade games aside... it's the food that steals the show at this trendy new bowling lane. Take a look at the Smokehouse Burger...

The nachos alone are enough to induce a nice long nap, so be sure you have someone to share them with!

And the massive Goliath 28-inch pizza is enough to make you call friends for help in finishing it off.

With such delicious food awaiting (like The Big One sampler, shown here) it may be hard to decide if you're going to bowl first — or eat first!
