The Revolutionary War Comes To Life At This Huge Battle Reenactment In South Carolina

There’s no denying South Carolina’s significance in the American Revolution. Many important battles were won (and lost) here in the fight for independence. Few spots in the Palmetto State celebrate the battles fought here more than Historic Camden, the site of two important conflicts in 1780 and 1781. For two days each year, Historic Camden’s Revolutionary War Field Days gives spectators an opportunity to step back in time when hundreds of reenactors – and thousands of spectators – from all over the country converge on Camden for this weekend reenactment.

Revolutionary War Field Days takes place each year at Historic Camden the first weekend in November (Saturday and Sunday). The address is 222 Broad St., Camden, SC 29020. Tickets are available at the gate. For more information, see the official website for Historic Camden.
