Take A Short 0.2-Mile Hike To A Fun Little Waterfall Swimming Hole In South Carolina
Chasing waterfalls in South Carolina is so much more fun in the summertime when you can peel off your clothes down to your swimsuit when you get to the waterfall and actually swim at the base of the falls. While there are scores of waterfalls with perfectly swimmable pools at the base in the Palmetto State, few are as fun – or easily accessible – as the waterfall and swimming hole found at Long Shoals Roadside Park near Pickens.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
The trail at Long Shoals Roadside Park actually follows the Little Eastatoe Creek for about eight-tenths of a mile. Learn more about it from our friends at AllTrails.com.
