Rhode Island sure has a lot of hiking for such a small state! It may be hard to believe, but there are well over 100 trails in the smallest state and they all offer something special for the adventurous hiker. There are paths for all levels of experience and every age, and you can find almost any type of terrain if you look hard enough. It would be overwhelming if we didn’t know that it’s near impossible to make a wrong choice! One great hike we are loving right now is through the Fisherville Brooks Wildlife Refuge in Exeter.
