1. Beef Barn, North Smithfield

This unique family owned restaurant is hard to miss with its eye catching exterior. The inside is just as quirky with its barn themed decor.

2. Big Blue Bug, I-95 Providence

This unique attraction might be a drive-by visit, but it's still worth it. The Big Blue Bug has been a Rhode Island icon for decades and can be seen on I-95 through Providence.

3. Abandoned Milk Jug, Route 146

This giant old abandoned milk can stands more than 30 feet tall along Route 146 heading towards Woonsocket. It dates back to the 1930s and has been left unoccupied for as long as most Rhode Islanders can remember.

4. The top of the statehouse

From its striking federal style exterior you might not notice anything strange about the Rhode Island capitol building. Upon closer inspection you'll eventually see the 11 foot tall statue of the man atop the statehouse. Though many assume it's founder of Rhode Island, Roger Williams, the statue known as the Independent Man is simply a symbol of the state's character and will definitely have you stop to take a closer look.

5. Gun Totem, Providence

This 12 foot high one of a kind structure is made from 1,000 turned in handguns and was designed by artist Boris Baly.

6. Mr. Potato Head Statues

Not everyone knows that Hasbro's headquarters is located in Rhode Island! That means Little Rhody is the birthplace for fantastic toys like Mr. Potato Head and there are several of these statues scattered across the state. Find this unique one on Route 136 on the Bristol and Warren line.

7. Green Animals Topiary Garden, Portsmouth

These magical gardens are located in Portsmouth and are operated by the Newport Preservation Society. It's easy to guess where the name comes from with over 80 pieces of unique topiary on the lands.

8. Old Stone Tower, Newport

This eye-catching site holds much speculation surrounding its origin. While most believe it to be the remains of a 17th century windmill, others say it's much older and signifies earlier North American settlers. Either way, it's definitely one-of-a-kind.

9. Fantastic Umbrella Factory, Charlestown

From emus roaming around the property to vintage and local craft shops, the Umbrella Factory is an amazing place with tons of fun attractions. It's found in the charming small town of Charlestown.

10. Fleur-de-Lys Studio, Providence

This eccentric house is eye catching and amazing. It was consistently featured in many H.P. Lovecraft novels and remains a breathtaking site on College Hill in Providence.
