The building has changed hands a total of 19 times over the years, moving away from utilitarian supplies like barrels of molasses and on to more modern goods.

Traditionally, farmers markets are open from spring through fall, taking a break during the coldest months of the year and leaving us to find our fresh fruits, veggies, and baked goods elsewhere. This farmers market in Bristol, Rhode Island, however, has chartered a new path, welcoming vendors and shoppers year-round.

Start a new Saturday morning tradition, if you haven't already, with a visit to the year-round Farmers Market at Mount Hope Farm in Bristol.

Held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the only thing that changes with the seasons is where you'll explore vendor booths. The barn hosts the farmers market in the winter, so you can stay cozy while you shop.
