The Marvelous 4.3-Mile Trail In Rhode Island Leads Adventurers To A Little-Known Swamp
Rhode Island may be tiny, but we have so much to explore that it would take years, perhaps even a lifetime, to see it all. A brisk hike is one of the best ways to get to know Rhode Island and all of the natural beauty it offers. Whether you’re an avid hiker or a relative newbie, you’ll quickly discover that this beautiful trail in Rhode Island is a relaxing way to spend an hour or two.

If you're up for an even longer adventure, keep hiking past the Great Swamp Trail and onto the Worden Pond Trail. It's also easy and runs two miles past the end of the Great Swamp Trail.

If you're visiting during the warmer months, lather on the bug spray. Bring it along, too, because it can get extremely buggy along the path and near the water.

Keep an eye out for the dates for hunting season. During hunting season, visitors must wear bright orange when exploring the management area.
