It’s Time For Rhode Island’s Enchanting Harbor Grill To Reopen, Marking The Countdown To Summer
From May – September, Rhode Island’s Block Island becomes a top vacation destination for people from all over New England and beyond. And part of their annual tradition usually includes a stop or two at The Harbor Grill & Orchid Lounge, one of Block Island’s oldest restaurants. The eatery is about to open for the season, and we couldn’t be happier.
Typically, the restaurant is open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day.
Let's just say there's no bad seat here.
The bar is still dark and intimate, but it's a lot more laid back these days.
If you drink, treat yourself to a Mai Tai, a Hurricane, or a Clay's Head Punch. We don't recommend drinking them all on the same evening unless you're staying on the island.
You can also opt for a steak, chicken, or a salad.
The views here are so phenomenal, they could serve average food and get away with it. However, the cuisine here is fantastic and flavorful.
After such a strange year, it's important to keep the tradition alive.
