Have you ever been so mesmerized by the views around you that you could just sit and stare for hours? Maybe the gentle cascade of a waterfall took your breath away. Or perhaps the twinkling lights of the city skyline captured your gaze. You might just find that's what happens when the shimmering city landscape is sprawled before you at The Exchange in Pennsylvania, one of the state's tallest rooftop bars.
Resting high atop the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, The Exchange Lancaster welcomes guests to drink in its sensational views all year round.
The popular rooftop bar sits 12 stories high, the equivalent of 180 feet aboveground, making it the tallest rooftop bar in Lancaster.
The Exchange offers two lounge areas - an outdoor lounge and an all-weather lounge - so you admire those one-of-a-kind views even during the coldest months.
Reservations are not required. However, if you're visiting during the warmer months, you'll definitely want to reserve a time.
If you're a fan of sunsets, plan a visit right around the sun's bedtime. You won't find a better place in Lancaster to watch the sun as it falls asleep.
The only thing that rivals the views is, of course, the menu. Choose from a selection of cocktails, wine, and draft beers.
The Exchange also serves such favorites as mac and cheese and truffled crab fries.
Allow the golden sun to keep you warm as you indulge in the crab and avocado toast, the marinated olives, or the crispy tofu.
You can also order one of a half of a dozen wood-fired pizzas on the menu. If you're not too hungry, why not pair your drink with a wood-fired brownie instead?
Stop by the official website of The Exchange Lancaster for days, hours, and menus. Or, visit the rooftop bar's Facebook page.
