We all need some holiday cheer these days, especially with the brand new safety mandates that have dropped from Harrisburg. While some of our favorite activities may be on the backburner, we can certainly find some Christmastime replacements. For a relaxing and a safe way to see the exquisitely decorated downtown, climb aboard the Jolly Trolley in Pittsburgh.
Molly’s Trolleys welcomes guests to climb aboard its Jolly Trolley Sightseeing Tour, which will run the weekends of December 19-20 and 26-27, 2020.
The special holiday sightseeing tour lasts approximately 30 minutes and promises fun for the whole family.
Climb aboard the festive trolley in front of The Pennsylvania Market in the Strip District for the leisurely tour that will give you an up-close look at the beautifully-decorated downtown.
You’ll also learn a bit of history about Pittsburgh’s treasured holiday traditions and decorations in between singing Christmas carols and other seasonal songs.
Bring your camera along, too, so you can snap photos of the cheerfully-decorated trolley. If you’re bringing a little one along, they might just receive a special gift from Santa, who will be there in spirit.
Masks are required for tours that depart every half an hour between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. You can purchase tickets online. Tickets will be limited to allow for social distancing.
Private tours are also available. All trolleys are thoroughly sanitized before each tour.
Stop by the official website of Molly’s Trolleys for more information. Or, go here for Facebook.
Will you climb aboard the Jolly Trolley in Pittsburgh this December? Or have you already? Let us know in the comments! For more safe holiday fun, plan a visit to Overly’s Country Christmas in Greensburg. (It’s solely drive-thru this season.)
