The Very First Drive-Thru Restaurant In Pennsylvania Still Has Cars Lining Up Around The Corner
We have so many ways to enjoy a bit of yesteryear – from spending an evening under the stars at the drive-in to playing old-school video games at our favorite arcade. When we’re hungry, we’re also lucky enough to have several classic drive-thru restaurants to visit. Jerry’s Curb Service in Pennsylvania, for example, will make you feel as though you’ve journeyed to another decade.
Jerry’s Curb Service in Beaver Falls ranks as one of the first drive-thru restaurants in Pennsylvania, first opening back in 1947.
Today, it stands as one of the few remaining authentic drive-in restaurants, complete with carhop service, in the state. If you’ve not been there yet, you’ll definitely want to add a visit to the top of your to-do list.
Before you turn your lights on, however, take a peek at the menu, which is brimming with such favorites as burgers, hot sausage, and Philly cheesesteaks.
That’s just the beginning of the deliciousness that awaits. Sirloin steak, chopped steak, and grilled chicken are also on the menu. If you prefer, you can opt for the sirloin steak salad or chopped steak salad.
Consider what sides you’ll order, too. Choose from such favorites as fries, onion rings, cheese sticks, and breaded mushrooms. Jerry’s Curb Service also offers a kids' meal for the little ones.
Cap off a classic drive-in meal with a tall glass of pop/soda or a chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla milkshake. Or warm up with a scrumptious hot chocolate.
