Wear comfy shoes for the 1.1-mile trek to Shikellamy Overlook, tucked in the cozy Shikellamy State Park in Selinsgrove. Cross a storybook footbridge and climb stone stairs, and you'll arrive at this scenic overlook that boasts spellbinding views of the town of Sunbury and the Susquehanna River.
2. High Knob Overlook – Hillsgrove
Our next stop brings us to High Knob Overlook. The easiest way to access the overlook is on a scenic drive along Dry Run Road; the overlook also sits along the moderately challenging 3.6-mile Loyalsock Trail. However you arrive, you'll be treated to sweeping views of the town of Hillsgrove and the lush forest. The lookout point is popular in each season, so any time is a good time to visit.
3. Pine Creek Gorge – Watson Township
No road trip that leads to Pennsylvania's most iconic views would be complete without a stop at Pine Creek Gorge.
