Pennsylvania is pretty much a tiny piece of paradise for hikers, campers, and outdoor lovers in general. One of those trails, Hector Falls Trail, features an abundance of natural beauty, including a beautiful waterfall.

Spanning just two easy but beautiful miles through Allegheny National Forest, Hector Falls Trail is a picture-perfect way to spend a few hours.
Because Allegheny National Forest is huge, enter the following coordinates 41.6853-78.975067 into your GPS or into Google Maps for directions to the trail.
A winding trail that's flanked by forest trees, Hector Falls Trail offers beautiful views all year round. However, definitely make it a point to visit during the peak of the fall foliage.
Surround Hector Falls, which tumbles down 20 feet. The strength of the waterfall, however, can be hit or miss. Sometimes it's powerful while other times it is barely a trickle. Still, it's worth the hike.
The trail can get busy from time to time, and spots can get pretty muddy after a rainfall. However, those who have hiked it give Hector Falls Trail rave reviews for its kid-friendliness.
