Gettysburg has been hailed as the most haunted town in Pennsylvania and among the top haunted places in the United States, so it’s fitting that the Museum of Haunted Objects is tucked in this historic destination.
The museum, in fact, sits on the second floor of the home where Jennie Wade was born. Wade, whose adulthood home is a popular stop for visitors to Gettysburg, was the sole civilian casualty of the Battle of Gettysburg during the Civil War.
The Jennie Wade House is where Wade was killed during the war.

Exhibits may change but have included two chairs from Fords Theater that were in place on the night of President Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Your tour guide will share the story behind the objects, including any paranormal activity associated with them.
Photographs are not allowed on the tour, so you won’t find many to check out before you make your way to this paranormal museum. However, both the objects and the experience garner positive reviews from tour-goers, who called the tour “fascinating,” “spooky,” and “entertaining.”
