Huddle Close While You Take A Haunted Hay Ride Through The Hair-Raising Haunted Hills In Pennsylvania

Dress warmly, even if it’s not too terribly cold out, when you make your way to the Haunted Hills in Pennsylvania. Even with the extra layer of warmth, you still might feel chills slide up and down your spine as your hair stands on end. After all, you’re about to embark on one of the most haunted hayrides around. You’ve been warned.

You can't miss the entrance to Haunted Hills Hayride in North Versailles. Just keep an eye out for the old hearse with some shady characters hanging out of the windows.

If that doesn't give you the creeps, slowly pull into the parking lot of the haunted hayride that can get really crowded on Friday and Saturday evenings. Make sure you're wearing a mask as they're mandatory this season.

Climb aboard the haunted hayride, and be prepared for spine-tingling surprises around every corner. You never know what kind of nefarious creatures are lurking in the hills.

However, the hayride - if you make it through - is just the beginning of the fun. Haunted Hills is also home to a bone-chilling walking trail.

If you can muster up enough courage after your hayride, embark on the Valley of the Darkness Haunted Hiking Trail. It, too, promises plenty of chilling surprises.

For the ultimate evening out, rent a private campfire for yourself and your party. Private campsites cost $50 on Friday and Saturday evenings (for the whole evening). You'll pay just $30 on Thursdays and Sundays.

Be sure to wear a mask as they are mandatory all season long. All guests must agree to a temperature check at the entrance. You'll also find hand sanitizing stations at the event.

You can purchase tickets for the Haunted Hills Hayride, the Valley of Darkness Walking Trail, or for both. Prices vary, and proceeds benefit the Autism Society of Pittsburgh. See prices.
